Out of curiousity, what programs do you guys use for burning CDs/DVDs? I'm new to the PPC, but have been using Linux for quite a while. I'm truly interested in something that "just works" with the 15" Albook, preferably something Gnome/GTK2 based. Any thoughts?

you havent the money for cds, yet you can afford a computer and the internet?

cds run from 20-30 cents apeice if you buy them right

personally, my sony820e (ibook) combo drive is broken right now, but what seems the easiest is xcdroast .. and it does not require kde, gnome whatever.

Well, I guess I'm looking for something Gnome based that is as pretty and cool as K3B for KDE. The only catch is that it obviously has to support the 15" albook's superdrive.

X-CD-Roast has a GTK+ frontend
http://www.xcdroast.org
or just
Code:
emerge xcdroast

IIRC, the portage version has the DVD burning patch iirc for cdrecord, so no need to buy the cdrecord-ProDVD version.

ciao
