Hello,

after a successful merge of amule-1.2.6 (I added ~ppc keyword locally btw), amule starts without errors, but when I try to download a server list with the update servers list button from URL http://ocbmaurice.dyndns.org/pl/slist.pl/server.met?download/server-good.met I get "Error: the file server.met is corrupted". So I tried xmule-1.8.1 which has the ~ppc keyword in portage. But I get ""Error: the file server.met is corrupted, unable to load serverlist" with xmule, too. The same holds for all manually downloaded server.met files I tried from different places on the net.

So has anybody else experienced this problem? Or did anybody succeed in using amule or xmule on ppc?

tia,
dnb.

File is corrupt? Had that prob but after installing amule2 it disappeared. Try deleting it... i think amule creates it at start if you don't have it.

P.S. Have you checked the perms?
