Hi,

I've managed to get a running system (thanks for the great docs!) but sometimes the kernel hangs. It always seems to occur at the mouse line (I can't remember it exactly and I don't want to reboot because it took me 3 times to get it to not fail this time - something like /dev/mice is mentioned ...).

I'm running 2.6.4 and I have a 1 GHz iBook. I patched the kernel sources with a patch I saw (and had to edit) in the forums (the first thread when you search for "ibook hang") to get the jittery display to go away.

Also, how do I emulate a right click? I've tried multiple combinations of Ctrl, Alt, AppleKey, etc., but nothing seems to work.

Looking forward to helping others once I've got things going,

Andrew

I used to have freezes on my 800Mhz G3 iBook, so I pulled my 512M stick of Crucial and the problem went away completely! Of course running with 128M sucked, but you should have seen it on OS X, ouch!

Long story short, I exchanged the RAM with Cruicial, and now all is good.

Don't know about the kernel freezes, but mouse button emulation is described here.
