In the /dev/ directory I have hda hda1 hda2 hdaN... hda7.

At the moment I've only got OS 9.2 on it and I'm just looking around from the 2004.0 CD. This is a PowerBook G3.

Code:
Warning: invalid flag 0x0000 of partition table 4 will be corrected by (w)rite

I checked dmesg and logs, but didn't see anything pertinent.

dmesg reports the drive as a Toshiba MK4309MAT.

I'm using the livecd 2.6.3-benh2-G4 kernel.

Any ideas what's wrong? I'll be glad to provide any needed info. TIA

probably a stupid question... but you are using "mac-fdisk" and not "fdisk", right ?

And a stupid answer... Nope, didn't know there was a difference Worked like a charm though. Thank you. I must have missed that in the documentation at a pretty obvious location since I couldn't find the same question in the forums anywhere.

Thanks again
