hi could anybody please post his/her configuration file for the 2nd/3rd generation Powerbook 12" with gforce fx and kernel 2.6?

I didn't see any in the PPC Conf DB, so until somebody posts one, you may want to give "make menuconfig" a try and do it that way. Then once you get specific issuess we can address those one by one (or two or three, as the case may be.)

yes, i searched there too, i tried the one for the first generation 12"PB, but it gives me a compilererror with the macATA i left that one out and it compiled, but i dont know if it works yet, cause i have very few time to proceed with the installation.

ATA is definitely something you want - try enabling the Generic ATA support and PCI ATA support, (And DMA - that's important, too) but you can skip the specific chipsets that don't apply to you. Use "lspci" to give you a better idea of what hardware you need to be adding drivers for.

generic ata and pci were enabled, and i used them i only deselected the mac ata, (i don't know the exact name at the moment) which gave me the compiler error. but when i did that i forgot to enable network before and couldn't move on after that step.
