I have nothing under /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0.
When I start the cpudyn daemon from /etc/init.d, it doesn't work, but I don't get any error messages.
If I run cpudynd, the output is
Code:

cpudynd version 0.99.0 Copyright: Ricardo Galli <gallir@uib.es>
cpudynd: CPU frequency control disabled
Error: Nothing to do, exiting

I'm using "sys-kernel/development-sources-2.6.5" and this is my kernel config under "Processor":
Code:

CPU Frequency scaling is set to yes
/proc/cpufreq interface is set to module
Default CPUFreq governor is set to userspace
'performance' governor is set to yes
'powersave' governor is set to yes
--- 'userspace' governor for userspace frequency scaling

Sure I'm doing something bad, but I don't know what.

The problem is that the code to change CPU frequency on these new iBooks isn't in 2.6.5. This patch is in the kernel since about 2.6.7-bk6, so your best bet is to probably install development-sources-2.6.8_rc2.

By the way, personally I don't use the /proc interface stuff.

If you get it working, you will have a message like this on boot:
Code:
Registering PowerMac CPU frequency driver
Low: 533 Mhz, High: 1066 Mhz, Boot: 533 Mhz, switch method: DFS

There should also be some stuff under /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/.
