Hi

Please inform me whether gentoo ppc can run applics for Mac OSX like dreamweaver. Please also inform me if Gentoo ppc will run fine on a pear pc emulator. Bettter stil if there is a way to run Mac OS applics on Gentoo for x86 that will solve my problems.

Thank you.

you can run all your OSX stuff at nearly full spead using MOL (Mac On Linux)
which is a sort of virtual machine. It requires an unmounted OSX partition.

you can use pearpc on gentoo for x86, and with it will run macosx(look around and you can see some screenshots)... but it will be SLOW...

mol is the way to go :)

its VERY fast, compared to other emulators (i know, i know, its not an emulator, but the idea is there)

If you're trying to cut Apple/OSX out of the loop it can't be done. You can't run the OSX .apps under linux. You can run OSX in a window in linux through MOL, and run them there, but you will still need a copy of OSX installed to do that. I suppose technically, you could run OSX in MOL on PearPC, but it would be too slow to be useable. If I remember right, PearPC executes at 1/500th of the speed of the physical processor. Much to slow right now to be able to run Dreamweaver for production.
