Would it be possible to chroot into a Gentoo environment on OS X? Has anyone done this? If yes, how would it work?

how would that work?

you've got to have Gentoo and OS X installed on different volumes, and you can mount ext3 (or any Linux volumes under OS X) so how could you get to Gentoo from OS X? 8O

BTW, if you can access your Linux volumes from within OS X, please let me know how. i must have really missed something.

How would this work?
When you chroot you're still running the kernel you booted from, it just changes the root to what's inside the chroot mount. Linux binaries don't run natively on darwin.
