Hi.

Hust wondering, did anybody else stumbled on this one? I upgraded a while ago to linux26-headers and kbd no longer builds. During the build phase I now get:
Code:
gcc -c -Wall -Wmissing-prototypes -Wstrict-prototypes -O2 -mcpu=7450 -mtune=7450 -maltivec -mabi=altivec -fno-strict-aliasing -DDATADIR=\"/usr/share\" ksyms.c

                 from /usr/include/linux/keyboard.h:4,
                 from ksyms.c:1:
/usr/include/linux/list.h: In function `list_del':
/usr/include/linux/list.h:164: error: `list_head' undeclared (first use in this function)
/usr/include/linux/list.h:164: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once

/usr/include/linux/list.h:545: error: parse error before ')' token
make[1]: *** [ksyms.o] Error 1

The thing used to build fine, in fact I have it installed, up, and running on my system. I am now trying to install on a new machine and noticed the problem. Sure enough, it is reproducible on my old installation. The bloody thing builds fine on x86.

I am using linux-headers-2.6.7-r4, gcc 3.4.1, glibc 2.3.3. More information upon request (since I am not sure what else to say). Any pointers are appreciated.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the offending header (/usr/include/linux/list.h) looks fine as far as I can tell.

Hmm, one more answer to one's own question, the problem seems to go away when using the ~ppc version of linux-headers (2.6.8.1-r1).

Thanks for the update. I've been grappling with this one for the past few days as well. I'll try the masked linux26-headers.
