does this make.conf for my G3 ibook 800mhz looks okej ?

Well, what goes into your use flag is really just what you want in the system. For instance, You have the java flag turned on, which means everything you compile that CAN have java support WILL have java support. Also do you plan on using gnome & kde? because having the flags theyre is gonna pull in a lot of stuff you wont need if you dont plan on using them. and as far as i know you should NOT set the 'ppc' flag yourself. But as far as format,everything looks fine. You dont need a use flag on just for an application to work,ie xmms doesnt need the xmms flag, it just builds xmms support into apps where its available.
