I was attempting to get my alsa-drivers working and I found something about needing to use genkernel to compile the kernel and everything would work. Well, genkernel didn't even compile and it deleted my old kernel! Then, I emerged the gentoo-dev-sources and recompiled my kernel manually. No problem, however, it is huge. I only have 800KB for my boot partition and it takes up like 5 MB! I can't figure out how to get my size back down. Any suggestions? Could I just make the boot partition bigger somehow?

Just eliminate the boot partition completely, you do not need it on PPC (and for that matter on most modern x86 boxen). Put everything (kernels and sysmaps) in a subdirectory /boot of you root partion, adjust yaboot.conf accordingly, and you should be in business. You could then use your former boot partition as swap of something (or just forget about it, it does seem too small for about anything).

Thanks. I tried to do what you said but then I realized something, somehow I had mounted /dev/hda2 (my boot for yaboot) to /boot and it made it look like everything got deleted. When I unmounted it, everything was there and it should all work now. Thanks for your help :)
