|My dad has one of these, and has been trying to mount it but the patch which made it work on 2.4 kernels didn't apply on 2.6. Today i made it work, it's actually really easy.
edit the file /usr/src/linux/drivers/usb/storage/transport.c
find the line that says "bcs->Tag != srb->serial_number ||"
either delete or comment out that line
recompile and install your kernel/module
Just in case anyone was having a problem with it.
