Hi,

I'm wondering if I can send my pegasos to a sleep state. Of course there is "software-suspend", but I would like to have a suspend to RAM where the computer returns to live at once.

Where could I start? (No, google doesn't count ;-) - or you must tell me the magic search words :-) )

Thank you!
Marcel

Thanks for the answers.

I already looked at software suspend 2 and I guess this will be the best solution as long as there is no "real sleep mode" for PPCs. However I would *really* prefer a true suspend to RAM.

But the 2.6.9 kernel with software suspend didn't compile on my PPC. It throws the same errors (highmem) as on AMD64 - so it still seems to be x86 only :-/ Did you get it to work on a PPC computer?

Thank you,
Marcel
