When I try to start the game cube on my ibook g4 1,2ghz it says to me that:

Code:
aronchi@abook /usr/portage/games-fps $ cube_client
init: sdl
init: net
init: world
game mode is ffa/default
init: video: sdl
init: video: mode
init: video: misc
init: gl
init: basetex
init: sound
init: cfg
could not read "servers.cfg"
init: localconnect
init: mainloop
read map /usr/share/games/cube/packages/base/metl3.cgz (235 milliseconds)
Cyclops by metlslime
can't find entity spawn spot! (118, 48)
game mode is ffa/default
disconnecting client (local) [end of packet]
Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)

What's the problem? I Have an ATI 9200:
VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc M9+ 5C63 [Radeon Mobility 9200 (AGP)] (rev 01)

Fore me there are many games witch throw a "Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)". I'm wondering if this is not a libsdl error.

Didn't work for me. What USE flags do you have when compiling libsdl? Are you a PPC user?

Nope... I'm an amd64 user.. I just thought it wasn't an arch-related problem

btw:

Code:
[ebuild   R   ] media-libs/libsdl-1.2.8-r1  +X +aalib +alsa -arts -dga -directfb -esd -fbcon -ggi -libcaca -nas -noaudio -noflagstrip -nojoystick -novideo +opengl -oss -pic (-svga) -xinerama +xv 0 kB

Yeah, I can confirm this. If you really want to play, as a work around, you can use the cube_client-bin instead, it works on my Pegasos. I'll look into this when I get a chance, but could someone make a bug? Thanks!

I get the same error. According to this thread, it should be included with lib-compat, but no more.

Okay, dirty hack to fix that:

Code:
ln -s /usr/lib/libstdc++libc6.1-2.so.3 /usr/lib/libstdc++libc6.2-2.so.3

The first should be there. I'll look into why that's broken too. :p
