I have the 12" Powerbook and have Gentoo almost running on it. I had a few questions about it. I'm pretty sure both are no after searching google and the forums but I thought it was worth a shot.

a. Is there any way to get it to suspend or do I have to shut it down every time its not plugged in and I'm not using it?

b. Since it doesn't have a PCMCIA slot, are there any options for USB 802.11g? Prism54 seems to have an undetermined ETA on USB support.

i think the prism54 usb support code is their cvs. they dont have set an offical release date for a new version with usb support. but as you can checkout ther cvs and use that code you may be successful there. on the other hand there is this zydas chip usb dongle things out there. there seem to be some linux driver out there but i guess they need some tweaking to compile them for ppc. so i guess prism54 is the better choice.. maybe?

Unfortunately with the 12" PowerBook, since it uses the nVidia chipset, there is no sleep support, nor is there likely to be any soon. Your best bet would be to investigate using software suspend.

And what about the 15" version ? Is there a way to get suspend working on it ?
It used not to work but I have not checked for quite a long time.
