I have an iBook G4 and I was wondering if there is any chance I could get flash working? I'm pretty sure there's about zero possabilty but I'd figure I'd check first.

10k1

There have been quite a few people asking about this but it seems that Flash and PPC are not good buddies.
I also have a mac with Gentoo on it but I just haven't had the time to look into this, I only know that it is a hassle to get flash working, if you get it working.
There is another topic on the forum with some info that migh help,

This has been asked here so often someone should put up a sticky with the answer:

1. emerge swfdec

or

2. run gflashplayer/x86 emulated with qemu
cf.: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=117774

In either case you will get only very rudimentary flash support - Macromedia simply will not support the linux/ppc platform. If you want to be able to use gflashplayer/swfdec inside your webbrowser, check out the plugger rule posted in the above thread.

By the way: emerge gplflash brings the old gplflash, which plays a lot of flash movies for me, but without sound. There was no plugger needed, it played with Konqueror right after reloading plugins.
For example the video output of this ninja film played fine.
