:P

Hello,
If you are using the nvidia driver check out this file:
Code:
/usr/share/doc/NVIDIA_GLX-1.0/README

Appendix R describes how to do what you want.
Code:
(app-r)  APPENDIX R: CONFIGURING MULTIPLE X SCREENS ON ONE CARD

The key points are:
* Defining 2 Monitors and 2 Devices.
* Setting BusID and Screen under each Device section:
Code:

BusID           "PCI:1:0:0"
Screen          1

* Setting up the layout:
Code:

Identifier  "Simple Layout"
Screen 0 "Screen CRT"
Screen 1 "Screen LCD" rightOf "Screen CRT"

A few things that I have noticed:
Your mouse pointer will go from screen to screen, but you cannot drag windows and such accross screens.
If you make changes to the KDE WM, such as Panel Settings, you have to restart X.

I currently have this working with the following configuration:
* (5700 Ultra) nvidia-glx-1.0.6629-r1 + xorg 6.8
* CRT on the left and a LCD screen on the right.
* KDE 3.3.2

I have posted the relevant sections of my xorg.conf below, as a working example.

Good luck!

Code:

    Identifier  "Monitor"
