Need some help. I get a blank screen from the x server. I'm using Xorg 6.8.2 release date 9 Feb 2005. Kernel is gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.10-r6. The Video card is a nvidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400 with 32 MB memory. This is trying to run on a Apple g4 dual 533 digital audio computer with a CRT ADT monitor (has a analog/digital connector). There are absolutely no errors in my Xorg.0.log. It claims the x server is running. The xorg.conf file is using "nv" as a driver. I think I have set the correct HorizSync (30-85) and VertRefresh (48-120). I have loaded the uninorth-agp and agpgart driver modules for the kernel. I ran across some real old threads that described the same problem but nothing recent. Please, does someone have some idea to fix this problem? Preferably the idea would work. I think it must have something to do with the display type but really I have no idea. Could the a wrong Modeline cause such a problem?

Thanks for you help

Ran Xorg -configure now everything works. I had been using Xautoconfigure for PPC. I also changed the mouse setting to point to /dev/input/mouse0. My old config pointed to /dev/input /mice.
