I'm stuck bootstrapping. it keeps booting me out with the messege below.

i think there's already a for bug report (#82027) for a similar problem (if not the same) but i cant find a solution to it.

tried -march=athlon64 CFLAG in make.conf
and -mtune

Output:
Code:

*** This cinfiguration is not supported in the following subdirectories:
        target-libffi target-boehm-gc target-zlib target-libjava zlib fastjar target-libobjc
(any other directories should work fine.)
gcc: installation problem, cannot exec 'as' : no such file or directory
*** The command 'gcc -o conftest -march=K8 -O2 -pipe conftest.c' failed
*** You must set the environment variable CC to a working compiler

!!! ERROR : sys-devel/gcc-3.4.3.20050110 failed

That looks surprisingly like this problem: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-299358.html. Also, you may want to change your -march setting to k8, rather than K8. I don't think it's causing this error, but it may cause others in the future.

Moved from Gentoo on AMD64.
