https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-313569.html

I'm having trouble emerging wine...it's masked and it shouldn't be. So I'm trying to use ACCEPT_KEYWORDS..(I know, bad bad), but I'm having problems with it. Am I doing the ~x86 thing wrong for amd64 bit?

I'm not certain that this actually answers your question, but:

http://packages.gentoo.org/search/?sstring=wine

Look here, and you'll see that "wine" has not been taken out of testing yet for amd64 (I guess you can still emerge it if you want). You might wanna try one of the others (maybe cedega?).

Furthermore, don't use ~x86 on amd64, use ~amd64 instead! :)

And don't use ACCEPT_KEYWORDS on the command line when we're at it. Use it in make.conf (will make your entire system ~amd64) or add the desired flags and the package in /etc/portage/package.keywords

Moved from Gentoo on AMD64 in favour of https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-313569.html If you think a thread has a better chance of getting answered in another forum, please ask a moderator to move it.
