I am looking for a way that I will be able to see warnings generated by emerge.

Eg:
Code:

emerge -uvD world

if this emerges 20-30 ebuilds and number 15 has a warning something like be sure you recompile 'x' if you are using 'y' or please edit file 'a' if you need 'b' or please run 'c' to reconfigure 'd' etc..

Currently I am just emerging and if all is well I don't worry about anything but often this is not the case. As well sometimes there are issues that I don't find out about until server days later and things are harder to fix at that point.

What I think I would like is the coloured text to show up in the emerge.log file. Or some other file that can be examined after doing something like emerge -uvD world.

I have googled and looked through this form but I have not found what I am looking for.

Thanks in advance.
