I finished upgrading to 2005.0 with the scripted method (so, I should have a multilib system) and when I 'emerge info' I can see :

Code:
Portage 2.0.51.19 (default-linux/amd64/2005.0, gcc-3.4.3-20050110, glibc-2.3.4.20050125-r1, 2.6.11-gentoo-r4 x86_64)

But when I try to emerge -avuD --newuse world there is something strange :

Code:
These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating world dependencies ...done!
[ebuild   R   ] sys-devel/gcc-3.4.3.20050110-r1  (-altivec) -bootstrap -boundschecking -build -debug +fortran -gcj +gtk -hardened (-ip28) (-multilib)* -multislot (-n32) (-n64) +nls -nocxx -objc -static (-uclibc) 0 kB

Multilib is arch-masked 8O

Can you help me ? :?:

Multilib is now MANDATORY as of 2005.0, so they masked the multilib USE flag.
