I have installed 2005.0 on JFS. Unfortunately I seem to be unable to boot because yaboot reports something like unknown filesystem or corrupt filesystem. The filesystem is _not_ corrupt (can be mounted without problems). Somewhere I found this:

"If your root filesystem uses the JFS filesystem, be sure to add ro as a kernel parameter. JFS must be able to replay its log in read-only mode before it gets mounted read-write."

Where do I add a kernel parameter?

I have given up on my JFS root partition - doesn't work. Instead I have an ext3 root partition and a JFS home partition. I don't particularly like ReiserFS - and I would recommend using only a root and a home partition on PPC.
