Did you noticed, that you have "i386" here:

Quote:

Code:

-lX11 -lresolv -lSM -lICE -lkdecore -lkdeui   -lart_lgpl_2
libtool: link: cannot find the library `/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4/libstdc++.la'

and "i686" here?

Quote:

Code:

# ls -la /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4/

I hope this helps :-)

This problem can usually be solved by running
Code:

# fix_libtool_files.sh [old gcc version]

for instance, if you upgraded from (fictional versions) gcc-3.4.3-20040230 to gcc-3.4.3-20040110 you would run fix_libtool_files.sh 3.4.3-20040230
