Hey all
after i've used euse, it told me i need to upgrade to the new profile (2005.0)

Now, after following the instructions, whenever i try to use "euse" it complains saying

Code:
euse -i <package name>
/usr/bin/euse: Line 199: /make.defaults no such file or directory.

I assume it can't fine make.defaults file, but where do i take it and where do i put it?

Thanks all.

change line 157 of /usr/bin/euse from
Code:

parent="$(grep -v '(^#|^ *$)' ${curdir}/parent)"

to
Code:

parent="$(egrep -v '(^#|^ *$)' ${curdir}/parent)"

Looked like it has worked!

How come that file needed to be edited? Any idea why that "e" was missing in the first place?

Thanks.

No, the file is not missing.

https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75525

Code:
wget -O - http://bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=55750 | patch -d /usr/bin/ -p2

will fetch the patch and apply it to your copy of euse.
