Anyone know what would cause this? I am compiling php 4.3.11.
Code:

libtool: link: cannot find the library `/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4
/libstdc++.la'
make: *** [sapi/cli/php] Error 1

!!! ERROR: dev-php/php-4.3.11 failed.
!!! Function php-sapi_src_compile, Line 544, Exitcode 2
!!! compile problem
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

Here is my emerge info:
Code:

Got the same problem here.
The reason seems quit clear, he is isearching for a library that does not exist :)
But I have not found a workaround up to now.

Cheers

Please see this sticky, and this FAQ. With this error, you should look at using --oldarch i386-pc-linux-gnu, as that seems to be the CHOST of the version of gcc you used to have.

Moved from Portage & Programming.
