Hullo, my girlfriend recently bought a Powerbook G4 and of course wants gentoo on it. I installed gentoo without a hitch, but I cannot get the trackpad to work right. The drivers in the kernel provided with gentoo aren't working; the trackpad doesn't even respond. I went on IRC and I was linked to a webpage by JoseJX that has another driver. I insmod'ed this driver and ran a program it came with called driver. This allowed my trackpad to be recognized. However after 30 seconds of the trackpad working fine, the cursor starts moving extremely erratically all over the screen. I was wondering if there is any way to get the trackpad to work in Gentoo PPC on the newest generation of powerbook's. Thanks!

I'm having the same problem with my 15 powerbook, if you find another solution please let me know. It's kind of a pain to carry another mouse.
