Anyone else see a problem here?

Ugh! How did you do that??? Did you make all those recursive boot folders with a script or so?

Yer I posted abt the /boot link in /boot abt a year ago.

What is more funny (and wot I posted abt) is if you follow that link with an explorer like Nautilus, then things get messy.

There is a symlink pointing to . called boot in /boot.

This is done so you can give
kernel /boot/vmlinuz
as well as
kernel /vmlinuz
in grub.conf.

My guess this is done to counter confusion caused by the difference between grub root (/ when grub is running but /boot from Linuxes view) and the real root (/ under Linux, and whatever is specified by the root= kernel parameter for grub)
