Hi,

Something in my system thinks it needs php:[ebuild UD] dev-php/php-gtk-1.0.0 [1.0.1]

Is there a way I can find out what? I'd like to remove php-gtk, since it fails a build.

Thanks,

Gerald

I think you can use equery to find the package(s)...
Code:
equery d php-gtk

Try passing the -t (--tree) option to emerge.

You might need
Code:
/usr/share/doc/gentoolkit-0.2.1_pre2/deprecated

Have a look at this post from this thread for another take on the topic.

But iTux has it right. The --tree option to emerge is all you really need in this case.
