Wel, now the touchpad, it don't work. The usb mouse work great in console and Xorg but touchpad of power book don't work:

Code:
 /etc/conf.d/gpm
MOUSE=imps2
MOUSEDEV=/dev/input/mice
REPEAT_TYPE=raw
APPEND="-l \"a-zA-Z0-9_.:~/\300-\326\330-\366\370-\377\" -g 1 -A 60"

I probe using ps2 and /dev/psaux but touchpad don't work. I was using the APPEND="-M -m /dev/input/mice -t mtouch" but not work touchpad.

And this is the config of Xorg:

Code:
/etc/X11/xorg.conf

Hi

I had the same problem with my new powerbook 12".
After investigation, I found a link very interessing for the installation of Linux on a new powerbook :
http://seehuhn.de/comp/powerbook/
Here, I found patch for
the sound
Thermal managment
Frequency scaling
FN Key (to use pbbuttonsd)

I test these patch with the 2.6.11.8 and now
The sound works
Thermal managment works
FN Key work
I still have problems with the frequency scaling.

For the trackpad, someone began the development of a driver. It's here : http://johannes.sipsolutions.net/PowerBook/touchpad/driver

It's a good start but, for the moment, it doesn't work very well.

Good Luck

To use the trackpad on X11, replace all your Pointer devices with the IMPS/2 device /dev/input/mice. This does have the disadvantage of being unable to distinguish between the mouse and trackpad, but it's a start.

hey g0su !

maybe you want to take a look to powerprefs, very handy tool to get a quite nice pbbuttonsd.conf.

maybe that helps at least with your non-working keys ;)

cheers

The file of live cd is the same than my file and the same kernel, but in live cd works and in my kernel not work, i am not sure what option i need for work but the keys not work with my gentoo, is not a problem with pbkeys.

Thx for your help.
