Hi.
Today I tried to install WoW on my gentoo system. I want to use wine. The first time I started the installer it said, that i need a Windows Version to install (did not config it, but it worked!). Then I downloaded a config, but after copying it to $home/.wine I recieved following erros:

Sorry, but the installer was unable to start. You may be out of hard drive space.

I even deleted UT2004 to make more space and now I have 12GB free space and that should be enough...
deleting wine and re-emerging it does not help, too. I still get this error.

Does anyone know an answer?

What ~/.wine/config are you using? Why did you have to download one at all?

Try deleting your ~/.wine/config or if you want, the whole ~/.wine directory. When you run wine the first time it should create a new config file for you with reasonable defaults.

Moved from Gamers & Players to Duplicate Threads.

Please use the main WoW install and support thread. Thanks. https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-246098.html
