When running the revdep-rebuild command after a world update I consistently get the same two suggested actions:

Code:
Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild   R   ] app-office/openoffice-bin-1.1.4-r1  +java +kde 0 kB
[ebuild   R   ] www-client/opera-8.00  +spell -static 0 kB

I have allowed revdep to emerge these serveral times but they persist in always showing up on subsequent revdep-rebuild sessions.

Listed below is what preceeds the suggested packages to be emerged.
What do I need to do to get this resolved or ignored?

Am I missing a needed step?

Code:
Checking dynamic linking consistency...

That's a known problem. revdep-rebuild doesn't take particular care about binary-only ebuilds. You'll have to live with it until it gets fixed :). (And yup, it annoys the hell out of me as well).

Thanks, moocha. I was hoping there might be a way to have revdep ignore those.

With openoffice you can unmerge the bin installation and emerge openoffice... Takes a hell of a long time to compile of course :)
