Hi to you all!!

I'm proud to say that i use gentoo (exclusively :D ) for more than one year, and now i found the hardest problem: I'm working with a automated system that uses mpc555. There is no documentation. The only thing that was told to me was: "Make this thing work better!"

Now i don't know how i'm gonna update the compiler for these guys. Anyone knows where i can get the compiler and/or some information about it?
Any help would be very appreciated!!

The MPC555 is an embedded PPC system from Freescale. There are lots of websites about this hardware, just for starters:
(from google)
http://www.ee.ualberta.ca/~jasmith/mpc555/
http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=MPC555&nodeId=018rH3bTdG8648

You might also be interested in the linuxppc-embedded mailing list:

Good luck.

Incredible!!! 2 hours to get an answer!! Thank you very much!!

But the problem is a little more complicated. The system compiles "c" code that is downloaded to the mpc's. For compiling it uses the GNUPro toolkit.
So now the question is: Where the hell i find that toolkit? It looks like it is (or was) made by Red Hat.

From the several sites is easy to find some compilers (free and non-free) but no GNUPro. And if i use another toolkit i probably have to change code, which isn't a good idea...

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
