how to delete a menu item in 2.10?

in gnome 2.8, I would right click and select edit menu, delete or something like that.

But in gnome 2.10 there's no obvious way of deleting an item in a menu.

I installed gimp 2.2 and now two gimp entries exist under graphics and want to delete one, but I coudn't find a way to do so.

thanks,

-B

You could use a third party menu editor, wait for an official menu editing sytem or simply delete the .desktop-file in /usr/share/applications
