I have a new installation and when I try "emerge xorg-x11", I receive an error:

I think a file is missing. Tnks for any help.

What version of GCC do you have installed?

I have installed GCC 3.3.5-20050130 and upgrade now for 3.3.5-20050130-r1, but problem persists.

Have you tried syncing and emerging it again? By the way, why the xorg-x11? I used just plain old x11 and it still installed xorg. I honestly don't know if there is a difference, but it was just something I noticed.

I've commanded "emerge --newuse -uD world" and xorg is working well now.
