I'm not able to get my NetGear Fa311 ethernet card in my 8600 working. Using either the in-kernel natsemi driver or as a module and I've tried switching eth1 to eth0 and back again and i've reset the MAC addresses in my router and cable modem to no avail.

Anyone got a reccomendation on a good 100base-t ethernet card for old world macs? And I enabled SCx200 support under i2c in my kernel as well

Thanks,

I believe you need the "tulip" or "8139too" driver for your netgear. Just going from memory. I could be wrong.

Nope it was natsemi, The problem was human error on my part. I never noticed my card was eth0 instead of the onboard. All I had to to was change some lines of text :P
