i wasnt sure if this should go in here or games, since it has to do with nvidia, so i put it in here.

ut2004-demo wont start because of some nvidia problem, the error is
Code:
Error: API mismatch: the NVIDIA kernel module is version 1.0.7174, but
this library is version 1.0.7664. Please be sure that your kernel
module and all NVIDIA driver files have the same driver version.
i tried to see if nvidia-kernel needed updated and it didnt. any ideas how to fix this?? i had this problem once before LONG time ago and cant remember how i fixed it.

you don't have the module unloading in the kernel ? that's an inportant feature !! you should add it ..

then, in your case, just reboot ..

and the next time search before posting ;)
