Hello,

I'm trying to emerge gnome but gtk+-2.6.7 fails on
Code:

/usr/include/jconfig.h:12:1: warning: this is the location of the previous definition
/bin/sh ../libtool --mode=link i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc  -O2 -march=pentium4 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -Wall   -o libpixbufloader-jpeg.la -rpath /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/loaders -avoid-version -module  io-jpeg.lo -ljpeg libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.la -lgmodule-2.0 -ldl -lgobject-2.0 -lglib-2.0 -lm

I have gcc-3.3.5 and
Code:

find /usr/lib -name "libstdc++.la"
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.5-20050130/libstdc++.la

Any fix for this?

thanks.

Some .la files have hard-coded paths to gcc libraries, so they break when you update gcc. There's a tool for updating them: fix_libtool_files.sh

I tried it
Code:

fix_libtool_files.sh 3.3
fix_libtool_files.sh 3.3.5

didn't help.

It's looking in 3.3.4 so try fix_libtool_files.sh 3.3.4
