ive been searching around but no one seems to have spoken about a way to change their framebuffer console font to the font used by open firmware. ive been informed by Pylon that the font is "mac console 6x11" but since ive never had to change my console font to a font i dont know where to find, i would appericate some help. :)

thank you all in advance

Edit /etc/conf.d/consolefont and change the CONSOLEFONT variable.

You could try this guy's font suggestion, I think he wanted the same font that you want:
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-333138.html

Additionally, as it says in /etc/conf.d/consolefont:
Quote:

# CONSOLEFONT specifies the default font that you'd like Linux to use on the
# console. You can find a good selection of fonts in /usr/share/consolefonts;
# you shouldn't specify the trailing ".psf.gz", just the font name below.
# To use the default console font, comment out the CONSOLEFONT setting below.
# This setting is used by the /etc/init.d/consolefont script (NOTE: if you do
# not want to use it, run "rc-update del consolefont" as root).

So you could try the fonts in /usr/share/consolefonts to see if something there suits your needs.

in order to get the open firmware font as the font of your console NOT xterm (im still working on that)

throw this in your yaboot.conf
Code:
append="video=font:VGA6x11"
and bam there you go framebuffer consoles using open firmware font! :)

now if someone will tell me how i can get this as xterm ill love you all.
