Hi,
I'm installing gentoo on an Tyan GX28 wth dual 242 Opteron's with the AMD64 2005 LiveCD (minimal) wth the AMD64 Stage tarball. I downloaded the LiveCD image and checked the md5sum and burned it to a cd. Popped the cd into the GX28 and had no problems until reached the part where I chroot into the new environment. When I try to chroot I get the following error:

livecd / # chroot /mnt/gentoo /bin/bash
chroot: cannot run command `/bin/bash': Exec format error

From the shell, I can run '/bin/bash' without getting any errors, its kinda weird that it only gives me that error when doing chroot. I've installed gentoo on plenty of Intel boxes, but this i the first time I've used an AMD64 (its my personal development server) so I'm a bit clueless...is there somethng I'm missing or forgetting? I've tried searching the forums but i'm kinda stuck, if someone could help me out or point me to the right info I'd really appreciate it, I've been wrestling with this all afternoon now.

I really appreciate it,
Frank
