After upgrading man to 1.6, i found that man can't open most manpages, for example: sudo, sudoers, ls, man, bzip2, etc. But with some like emerge, povray, unzip manpages works fine.

Error message:
Code:
user@host ~ $ man bzip2
Segmentation fault

Output of emerge info:
Code:
Portage 2.0.51.19 (default-linux/x86/2005.0, gcc-3.3.5-20050130, glibc-2.3.4.20041102-r1, 2.6.11-gentoo-r11 i686)

PS: I'm not 100% close that problem in man

PPS: After downgrading to 1.5p - all fine

Hi!

Same problem here. Probably it's going to be fixed with a new ebuild. I'm looking into Bugzilla but search doesn't seem to work at present time. ;)

Michele.

The same happens to me. I just updated to gcc 3.4.4 and re-emerged everything and thought that this was the problem, but I see that you're using gcc 3.3.5, so that's not the problem.
