Hey all!
I'm being bold and attempting a stage1 install.
I'm stuck at 'emerge --emptytree system' because it fails at emerging man. While this does worry me, everything else has been going smoothly and man isn't so essential or complex, or big, or even frequently used that it _NEEDS_ optimisation.

So, I figure maby I'll be lucky and I can use the -KG option in emerge. But I need to specify an entry for PORTAGE_BINHOST. So, anyone know what I should specify for portage_binhost? And does this work, even? Or even better if out of some freak chance you have an idea of how to get man to emerge with no error logs or the such, that would be nice, too.

Anyway, wichever way, thanks in advance.
