I recently bought a used Powermac G3 Pismo from a friend and installed Gentoo on it. I also have a Cisco Aironet PCM352. The card works fine and I can connect to networks, but if I try to use it with Kismet I run into trouble. For some reason Kismet detects networks but won't show the SSID of any of them. It just says <no ssid>.

I have tried the same card in another laptop of mine, a Thinkpad running Slackware, and the above problem does not occur. I'm pretty sure I have kismet configured properly. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm wondering if this is PPC related or maybe some kind of conflict with packages I have installed.
