I was updating two gentoo systems when in both I find those similar errors:

Code:
checking for XML::Parser... configure: error: XML::Parser perl module is required for intltool

Code:
checking for XML::Parser... configure: error: XML::Parser perl module is required for shared-mime-info

What's wrong?
What does I have to do to correct the problem?

XML-Parser is already installed.

Those are the config.log files created during the installations:

shared-mime-info:
Code:

running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.

It was created by configure, which was
generated by GNU Autoconf 2.59.  Invocation command line was
