hey, i just got a short demo from a co-worker on Microsoft One Note.....is there a linux equivalent to that? .. it looks like it might be half useful! any suggestions???

i currently use KNotes for quick notes on my computer.

praveen -- xpad is even worse than knote -- i think he is looking for something more advanced where you can file notes in some sort of folder structure and do other stuff like you can in M$ one note

Here is something i found that looks promising, it comes with the gentoo e-builds in the file you download. it is called Notemeister http://notemeister.sourceforge.net/ it looks like it should install on ppc
