Hi, I'd like to mount my windows drive as a user and not as root:root.

my /etc/fstab reads,

/dev/hda1 /mnt/win32 ntfs noatime,user 0 3

I was reading in the man 8 mount file

uid=value, gid=value and umask=value
Set the file permission on the filesystem. The umask value is given in octal. By default, the
files are owned by root and not readable by somebody else.

I was wonder how I do that? And is this the correct approach to take to mount my partition as a regular user?

Thanks in advance.

Hi.

You should search in the forums before posting.
You will find this thread on the Documentation thread, specifically about your issue.
