I updated my relatively new system (Gentoo operating system, not hardware; slot loading Blueberry iMac) after installing some new packages and changing use settings. I performed the update as follows:

#emerge --update --deep --newuse world
#emerge --depclean
#revdep-rebuild

The process failed while executing the revdep-rebuild command for OpenOffice. At that point I ran
#emerge --unmerge OpenOffice
#emerge --clean
#revdep-rebuild

Now, my harddrive is full. df -h shows:
/dev/hda4 size 5.8G, used 5.7G Avail 0, used% 100%

Prior to the update, the system ran fine with the current packages installed including OpenOffice, so I'm assuming that there are some temporary/useless files somewhere that need to be deleted. How do I find them? Or, perhaps some other problem? :?:
