Hello,
I use gentoo on my PC for a long time ago and I tried to use it on my iMac G5 2Ghz yesterday.
Unfortunately the liveCD don't boot after I press Enter. Is it a problem with the 2005.1 ?
I don't remember the message but it was around "press a key to wake up your computer"

What I need to do ? (except press a key of course lol)

In fact the message is :
[...]
To continue booting, type mac-boot (maybe ?) and press return
To shut down type ... and return
Reducing system power

Release key to continue.

Anybody have an idea ?

No, you're not.
At least I do have the same problem with the live CD. The latest minimal Installation CD does work alright.

There was another thread about minimal install CDs for the iMac where the source for that working CD was listed.
You might wanna search for that.

None of the ppc 2005.1 disks worked for me. I used a 2005.0 minimal install with my 12" powerbook. it shouldn't make that much of a difference to use 2005.0 since you can always upgrade later.
