Hi guys,

let me ask your opinion about your preferred wm.
In our Department I need to manage tens of job emplacements with a Gentoo box.
Some months ago I adopted Gnome as general wm because of the gravity of KDE,
because we need to spend the most of CPU power in calculations.

I'm asking to the community what is the experience here, since we need high
stability (low crash risks), speed in calculations and modeling, an easy way to
implement shortcuts on the desktop for useful applications ( i.e browser, ooffice,
multimedia).

So, what about Gnome? KDE? BlackBox? Fluxbox? Enlightment?

:D Many thanks to all the friends :D

for stability and speed, id go with [black|flux]box... they will give you both.. and with another app (iDesk, Rox. etc) you can get icons on the desktop... it will also keep it much more standardized, and easier to maintain....
