|After I talked about it in a german forum I managed to control the iBook's fan.
This is Cedric's Kernel-Patch.
The patch brings a new kernel module therm_adm103x which offers fan control and temperatur information by /sys.
But I can't get lm_sensors running. With the therm-module running, sensors-detect even doesn't find the sensor device anymore.
The i2c-keywest patch doesn't work for me, because of an error in the last line.
As I understand: lm_sensors should work either
1. with the modules of lm_sensors which found their way into the kernel-source and the patch applied to i2c-keywest or
Correct me if I have misunderstood Cedric's notes.
2. with the old therm_adm103x itself
Maybe someone get's further?
